I bought this last year for my second grade classroom. I am now in my second year of teaching and the rug is still in good shape. Even with 20 pairs of dirty little feet (21 if you count mine) the rug still manages to look pretty good. It's definitely very dirty and needs a good cleaning, but the quality has held up. It was cleaned by our school's maintenance staff when we were moving into the new school building in August. I had cleaned it myself at home on the deck, but without the proper soap and tools, it didn't look as nice as it did after it was cleaned properly! It holds up in the classroom and looks new again after a proper cleaning, what's not to like?!I ordered this area rug for my 2-year old son's playroom. It came earlier than expected, after 4 days of ordering. The color is very bright but perfectly good for kids. My son loves to play his cars on the rug. He also learns to recognize the letters and colors. I'm looking forward to showing him more ways to play on it. For the quality of the rug itself, it is a bit thin but for the price, I don't expect much more.I purchased this for my son's play and future home-school room because it is both eduaction and NOT too overstimulating to look at! Plus the little roads are super cute for his hotwheels to roll around on and so it sort of serves as his large "street map" too lol. None of these pictures on Amazon do this rug justice, it is so vibrant and the price was awesome! (It does vacuum very well too!)Great rug. Very colorful and my kids are learning just by playing on it. The only thing I do not like is that there is blue under TX, NV, AZ and CA. It makes the kids think the ocean surrounds the USWe bought this rug to use in a travel inspired nursery. I agree with other reviewers that the rug is on the thinner side so don't expect it to be plush, but for the price it makes sense. The colors of the rug are very vibrant and the design is very kid appropriate and helped make the nursery complete. I love it!!We've found the rug to be just fine. It seems to slip around on the rug its layed over, that's probably our biggest complaint. But its a fair size and works well in the playroom it sits in.I purchased this for 2 purposes- First, I needed a rug to put OVER the threshold of the house/porch for my twins whom are crawling and hurting their sweet little knees. second, I wanted something colorful as well as educational. This rug meet both requirements, especially for the price!!! It's not gonna last forever but it'll work for the interim.I wanted a large cool rug for the playroom, but they were all so expensive! This one was such a bargain! It is thin, but one could put a thick pad under it. It may not hold up well for extended commercial use, but for a home playroom it does the job!
