I got this bag in purple and am very happy with it for the price. The outside fabric is a synthetic “woven” style texture that feels waterproof. Medium weight. The interior lining is medium quality, not very many interior organizational pockets.What I like about it: 1) zippers seem strong and are high quality. There are double zippers for the main opening and also the bottom shoe compartment. 2) The shoe compartment—this is what sold me. For a weekend/overnight bag, it’s wonderful to be able to have the shoes separated out. I can fit a pair of lightweight hiking shoes and beach slides, size 8.5 women’s. 3) the bag is floppy, not stiff, but holds a ton. It’s good because it can easily fit underneath an airplane seat if squished down.I was looking at weekender bags from super nice companies at $200+. This does the job and the price is great. Someday, I might want to invest in those nicer bags, but for now, this one is stylish, functional, high enough quality and the perfect size to sit on top of my carry-on luggage.
