My husband loves this back pack. And I don't say that lightly. The clip and sraps he can't say enough about how awesome, easy, and smart they are. Function!!! So great. He searched and searched for this bag to replace his long loved one that developed a hole. Realizing the need to move on from his old one was a rough day. Now he's thankful because he found this spacious, functional, fashionable, durable, thoughtful slim one! Love!I've been using the Meta for about a week now, I've travelled a bit with it and used it as a daily bag. So far, a few things have stood out to me, both good, and a few places for improvement.The Good:-Durable construction - the bag is really well built and water resistant.-Design - It's a really cool bag-Organization - The Meta has really good organization. I found that during traveling it made my life easier to not have to dig through to find what I was looking for. It had easy access spots for my passport, tablet, computer, chargers and definitely plenty of space for anything else I could need.-Size - For my uses, this is the perfect size for my laptop and a few clothes to pack for a weekend trip. It carries everything I need without too much bulkThe "Room for Improvement"- No Water Bottle Holder- Shoulder straps could use more padding- The laptop compartment should have a bit more padding on the bottom to protect from setting the bag down hard.Otherwise it's a great bag! Would recommend, especially with a few revisions in future editions.I’ve had my Pro Meta pack for 6 weeks now – and I love it.I got this pack for commuting to work with my laptop, workout clothes, snacks and a variety of work and personal items.Out of the box, this pack is sharp and stylish. It’s well-made and uses quality materials. Inside: an unexpected marvel of internal organization! The description and photos revealed little of the many pockets and storage features found inside.Ok – to be fair, I’m a gear-geek-snob! I worked for 15-years in the outdoor industry and own packs from Osprey, Lowe, Montbell, Patagonia and the North Face (for a variety of functions). What I love most about the Meta Pro is its styling, organization and light-weight.This is your pack if you love keeping things organized while on the go – and appreciate clean, understated styling. My only wishes: it would be great to have a simple waist belt and sternum strap, to keep it snugged close when biking or running to catch a plane. And, to sell more: add photos of the interior showing its many useful features.I purchased this as a gift for my husband. He loved it! He immediately switched his travel bag to this Ascentials bag. He previously used a high end backpack. The Ascentials bag has a better padded area for his laptop. The central compartment carried reading materials and headphones as well as an additional zipped compartment for important items like cash that he no longer wishes to carry in his pocket. There are multiple other compartment for travel meds and other odds and ends. Oddly, it all fit better than in a backpack despite having smaller dimensions making much easier to place under a plane seat with room left for your feet. He prefers to use the backpack style but then can switch to briefcase mode for a more professional look.If you need one, reliable carry-on for flight travel, this is it. The well-positioned pockets (all zipper protected) keep everything in place and allow easy access to laptop and accessories. Construction is both durable and function-sensitive allowing use as a backpack or shoulder bag (either way, you can detach the straps you don't need). The Ascentials Pro Meta also has great size - carries all I need without looking like I'm packed for a 5-day camping trip like traditional over-the-shoulder bags/backpacks.Pro tip: There's a little more green than gray in the color of the bag I chose - if you prefer neutral, choose the darker bag.Wow! This is a very versatile bag! I am using this bag as my computer bag. However as a school principal, I have my notebook, pens, and other essentials, in addition to my lab top, charging cord, and mouse! The multiple padded compartments allow you to have all your technology devices safely transported. I especially like that you have an option to wear it as a backpack or a shoulder bag.Have had my Pro Meta bag for about a month now. Was able to take it on a couple trips before all travel was halted. Fit my 15” MacBook Pro perfectly while still being able to fit folders, snacks, wallet and headphones. I liked using the inner pockets for my wallet and headphones, knew right where they would be. Would recommend this bag!Decent bag, the padding could be a bit more for the "hidden" laptop compartment closest to the back. My main gripe is that the description advertises that the main compartment has "anti-theft locking zippers" which are the same zippers as every other compartment and I don't see how these string threaded zippers could be anti-theft. Additionally, I find it interesting that nowhere on the bag does it tout it's water resistance. Seems like a decent enough bag, though a bit steep, but not all that was advertised in the listing.
