I love the durability of this back pack! We bought our first one (different print but same manufacturer) for our daughter in pre school, after a full year of use it had a lot of life left so she used it all of kindergarten also. To be honest she could have continued to use it, but she wanted a new one for first grade. 2 weeks in to first grade her new pretty unicorn back pack bought from a big box store is already falling apart! We made it a little longer before there was simply no use left in it, I knew we weren’t making the same mistake twice and ordered another one of these back packs. Just can’t beat their durability !!!!Omg this back pack it amazing!!!! My daughter is so RUFF on everything, so having it black is amazing! It is made so well. The straps are thick so it doesn’t hurt her shoulders when the bag gets heavy! Lots of little pockets everywhere to help get everything organized!!! Let me tell you usually mid year I have to by her a new bag because she just beats them up! She has now had this bag for 2 years and still looks brand new! It washes great and keeps its shape. For anyone that has a daughter that is as ruff as mine I totally recommend this bag you will not be disappointed!!!!!I was afraid it would be cheaply made since finding quality online can sometimes be a challenge. This bag is sturdy as one you'd splurge on locally.This backpack is a bit smaller than other school/book back packs. The top tapers in a bit making it not hold wider books as well at the top, especially if you are carrying a few books at a time. It does work well for my 8 year olds school books, and holds a lunch box in the large pocket. The middle pocket works well for hats and gloves. The shoulder straps have a nylon strap attached to the bottom for adjustment like all backpacks, but it frays super easy. One side of ours is down to about half the length so you would want to figure out how to reinforce the edge if you buy it.This backpack is a perfect size. It is extremely sturdy in made very well. It has three compartments that are very functional. It also has a little bitty zipper pocket like a purse has inside. It has a pocket on each side That holds drinks and they are sturdy enough to hold the drink in well. The shoulder straps are very padded and very comfortable. It is a very stylish backpack and I’ve gotten many compliments on it already! The print is really cute as well.This so close but so far away, the overall quality is excellent but they use pot metal for the pull tab connectors aka zipper so they do not last and one good tug by kid and they fracture. Problem is that the better zipper/same body sell for twice the price so we bought a second one hoping it would last longer than the first....first one lasted less than 3 months until zippers became less than functional. if this one makes it through ONE school year...… 8 months, we will upgrade to a 4 star, if it does not then it goes to 1 star as is then waste of money. stay tuned. funny note, comes in an 18" x 18" x 4" ish box and Amazon delivery says 'left in mailbox'......inside my 2" by 6 " mail slot? that last mile delivery crew needs more options to mark OR needs to realize that just because they work for USPS does not mean large box they left on PORCH was in MAILBOX.....hahaI bought this backpack for my son two years ago, when he was 8. He is pretty hard on his backpacks, shoving in more stuff than will fit! After 2 years, it still looks great. A zipper did just break, so I am buying another. And I'm guessing it had more to do with the fact that my kiddo stuffs a big ball into a pocket that is too small. But for $25, I'd say we got our money's worth! My younger son also has one in a different color.I bought this back pack as a replacement backpack for my child who is very rough on his things this backpack lasted for the rest of the year and could be this next year as well it's still in perfect shape and still looks great! At a 1/2 of the price of the one that I bought at the beginning of the year it's I'll bargain in every sense of the word. I highly recommend this! Photos we taken AFTER it's been beat up by my son for months and months and machine washed many times!My son really likes this back pack. It's clearly well constructed, with good padding and seems to keep contents dry in the rain. Some might find it a little shallow on the depth side if needing to take a lot of stuff into school but it's more than adequate for most primary requirements and a good day pack for outings.Bought as a present for an 12 year old schoolboy. Good capacity for all his books, sports kit bits of string and other things that boys carry about. Appears sturdy and well made. Would recommend.Seems good quality. So far nothing broken, all the school stuff fit well in it.Nicely made, waterproof (tried and tested) many pockets, happy son.I bought this bag for my grandson for high school. The zip broke today so not happy! One months use is not good value for money.
